Concerts & Events

For one of our two Christmas concerts in 2023, we returned to St Mary the Virgin Church in Lapworth. The familiar setting and welcoming audience made for an enjoyable afternoon of Christmas music.

The programme featured a wide selection of pieces by Eleanor Daley, Edward Elgar, Herbert Howells, Becky McGlade, Sarah Quartel, Elizabeth Poston and John Rutter, along with traditional carols for the season. The mix of choral works offered moments of reflection as well as some festive favourites.

This concert was part of a pair of performances, the second of which took place at Ettington Church.
