We rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30pm at Kenilworth Methodist Church, Priory Road, Kenilworth.
-
Our repertoire is broad, from medieval to modern, including classical, jazz, folk and contemporary choral works. We enjoy variety and like to challenge ourselves with new pieces each term.
-
Absolutely! You're very welcome to come along and try us out during the first two weeks of a term. Just drop us a message using the form here or email us in advance so we can have music ready for you.
Right now, we’re especially looking for tenors and basses. Sopranos and altos can still get in touch - we operate a waiting list, and we’d be glad to keep your details.
We also run workshops periodically, which are open to all singers. Just keep an eye on our website or join our mailing list for updates.
-
It’s preferable, but not essential. You may find it easier if you can follow a score, but our Musical Director, Jim, is great at introducing bits of music theory and new musical terms as we go, so there’s plenty of opportunity to build your confidence. We also provide practice tracks for some pieces, which can be a useful way to reinforce learning at home.
-
No audition is required. We’re a non-auditioned choir and all singers are welcome - though we do aim for a good standard and work hard together to get the most out of the music.
-
Membership is £180 per year, which can be paid either in full, two instalments or by monthly standing order.
18-25 year olds enjoy free membership.

What people say about us…
"When I joined as a novice bass I was immediately struck by the professional and supportive approach from practice to performance from all of those around me. Patiently mentored by fellow, more experienced basses and expertly guided by our leader, Jim, I feel that Warwickshire Singers is a great place for me to enjoy my singing and continue to improve."
Bob Harknett (Bass)
“I must admit I went along to my first local choir concert with low, predetermined expectations. Surprisingly, it was a fun evening of eclectic pieces performed by a varied group of enthusiastic and talented amateurs (and there was cake!)”
Simon (Audience Member)
