We were very proud to host a choral workshop with Bob Chilcott - acclaimed composer, conductor and passionate advocate of amateur singing - at Kenilworth Methodist Church.

We spent an inspiring day learning and singing some of Bob’s most popular choral pieces, including A Little Jazz Mass, The Lily and the Rose, and other favourites from the Bob Chilcott Songbook. The atmosphere was warm, focused and fun, and we thoroughly enjoyed working with Bob throughout the day, listening to his amusing anecdotes.

We were honoured that Bob included Kenilworth in his busy international schedule. Described by The Observer as “a contemporary hero of British choral music,” Bob is in high demand for workshops across Europe and the USA. Having worked with choirs in over 30 countries, he continues to energise and encourage singers of all levels.

Bob’s approachable style and clear musical vision made the workshop both enjoyable and rewarding. He reminded us how music can bring people together, and how much can be gained when singers connect with the words, the rhythm and the sound.

A truly memorable day. We hope to welcome him back in the future!
