We held a lively and inspiring choral workshop at Kenilworth Methodist Church, generously supported by Warwick District Council’s Ignite Arts Programme.

Participants spent the day developing vocal techniques with our musical director, Jim Bate, who shared practical tips on how to approach high notes with confidence, improve posture and refine vowel sounds. Jim’s clear and supportive guidance made the session both useful and enjoyable for singers at all levels.

He was joined by choral conductor Daniel Rodríguez-Tíjaro, who brought a fresh perspective to the day by introducing us to choral music from Latin America. Daniel led us through songs in Spanish and Portuguese, helping us to connect with the distinctive rhythms and melodies of the region.

It was a fun and engaging workshop that left everyone energised and inspired. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
