We welcomed Oliver Walker, former organ scholar at Oxford and now choirmaster and organist at Solihull School, as our new director in early May 2011.

As well as directing Warwickshire Singers, Oliver is Musical Director of The Midlands Chorale.

On July 9th we gave our first concert with him at St Lawrence’s Church, Oxhill, a very successful occasion, interspersed with readings and solos.

After the concert we met for a party at a house just down the road, belonging to one of our members.
